Description: Welcome to FCCB Kid’s Ministry, where young hearts embark on a faith-filled journey filled with fun, friendship, and faith-building! Our ministry classes are specially designed to nurture and inspire the youngest members of our church community as they grow in their relationship with God.

Overview: Our Kid’s Ministry is a vibrant and engaging program tailored to children from Kindergarten to Grade 5. Our goal is to create a safe and loving environment where children can explore their faith, develop a strong moral compass, and build lifelong connections with fellow classmates.

What We Offer:

1. Bible Stories and Lessons: We dive into the rich and exciting stories of the Bible, making them come alive for the children. Through creative storytelling, interactive lessons, and age-appropriate discussions, children learn about the teachings and values of Christianity.
2. Arts and Crafts: Creativity is embraced in our ministry class! Children engage in hands-on activities, crafts, and art projects that reinforce biblical lessons and inspire their creativity.
3. Games and Activities: We believe that learning can be fun! Our kids enjoy games and activities that teach teamwork, problem-solving, and important life skills while reinforcing Christian values.
4. Prayer and Reflection: Children are encouraged to communicate with God through prayer and reflection. They learn about the power of prayer and are given the space to share their thoughts and feelings.
5. Community and Friendship: FCCB Kids Ministry is a place where lifelong friendships are formed. Children bond with peers who share their faith journey, creating a strong sense of community and belonging.
6. Special Events: Throughout the year, we organize special events, such as End of School, Back to School, and holiday celebrations, to foster a sense of togetherness and fun within our ministry community.

Our Dedicated Team: FCCB Kid’s Ministry is led by a team of passionate and caring leaders who have a deep love for children and a commitment to nurturing their spiritual growth. 

Join Us on Sundays: We invite children and their families to join us on this exciting adventure of faith on Sundays at our 9:00 am and 11:00 am Services, and 5:30 pm Kid’s Class. FCCB Kid’s Ministry is open to all, and we warmly welcome newcomers. Whether you're just starting your faith journey or looking for a supportive community for your child, we're here to help them grow in faith and have a blast while doing it! Kid’s Ministry Classes.

Our Church offers Kid’s Ministry Classes for Children in Kindergarten through Grade 5 during the 9:00 am and 11:00 am service times. An evening class is offered on Sundays at 5:30 pm.  

Here's what to expect when visiting FCCB Kids for the first time:

Sunday mornings at 9:00 am and 11:00 am Services:

Kids will enter church service with their parents and will be dismissed to their Bible Class after families take communion together. After class, they will be returned to their parents.

Nursery Care is provided for kids from Infant- 5 years.

Sunday Evenings from 5:30 pm – 7:00 pm:

There will be an iPad check in kiosk at the main entrance of the church where parents can check in or register their child for each visit. Dinner is provided for the children. They will enjoy Bible Classes, Crafts, and Activities. Make sure to ask your child to invite a friend.

Our church uses the Planning Center Program in order to keep your child safe during drop off and pick up times for our Church Services. Check-in is simple and easy, and the kiosk station will have Kid’s Ministry leaders present to help you check in or get registered if it is your first time visiting.

We utilize Wonder Ink’s Curriculum by David Cook for both Sunday morning and evening classes. Wonder Ink invites families and children to experience the wonder of God together as they follow Him every day in every way. This Bible-centered children’s ministry curriculum encourages big questions and builds faith beyond Sunday. Rooted in the Gospel, this curriculum is based on four core values. 

God Knows Me

‘God, the Creator of all, knows me. He has always known me. He has had me in mind from the very beginning. He made me, and I am His masterpiece. He made me in His own image to do the amazing things He has prepared for me to do.

Jesus Loves Me

‘Jesus’ perfect life, death, resurrection, and promised return are God’s love story. Jesus came to fulfill God’s promises to His children. Through Jesus, I have salvation.

Jesus loves me no matter what. His love for me has no beginning and no end, and I get to love Him back. Jesus is God’s love in person. God’s love is big and generous, and it is for me! Jesus is the way to God’s love. Choosing to follow Jesus means choosing God’s love and God’s way.

I am LOVED by Jesus, and I get to share His LOVE too.’

The Holy Spirit Leads Me

‘God gives me the gift of His Holy Spirit when I choose to live for Jesus. The Holy Spirit invites me to live in God’s Kingdom—now and not yet.

When I accept Jesus as my Savior, I receive the Holy Spirit as a gift, and He lives inside me. When I let the Holy Spirit lead, He strengthens me, and I grow in belief. As I learn that God’s way is the best way, my faith grows too. The Holy Spirit helps me be more like Jesus—the me I was made to be.

Because I am LED by the Holy Spirit, I can FOLLOW Him.’

I Am a Child of God

‘God’s amazing story changes my own.

Because God knows me, Jesus loves me, and the Holy Spirit leads me, I get to be a wonder-filled reflection of God to the world. I get to know who I truly am and who I was made to be.

The Bible tells me that I am fearfully and wonderfully made, knit together by a loving God who knows all about me and loves every inch of me. He delights in me, and I will celebrate His wonder!

The kids will go through fun games, exciting lessons, engaging videos, and hands on learning about God and the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Each month there is a new theme/topic to explore, and it is always fun!

Our Kid’s Ministry Team ensures the kids have a good time while learning about our great God and the Good News of Jesus Christ!

Our Kids’ Ministry Team is a dynamic group of passionate individuals committed to fostering the spiritual growth and well-being of your children. Led by Joanne Beepot, Kid’s Ministry Director, our team includes creative storytellers, wisdom-sharers, melody-makers, crafting experts, safety guardians, and organizational wizards. Together, we create a safe and vibrant space where your children can explore their faith, make lasting friendships, and embark on adventures of learning and discovery. We invite you and your child to join our close-knit community, where faith, fun, and friendship flourish under the guidance of our devoted team.
